Trendify Announces WhatsApp Business API Pricing Adjustment Following Meta Fee Changes

Trendify is adjusting its WhatsApp Business API service fees in response to changes in Meta's messaging pricing structure, which took effect on October 1, 2026.

The changes introduce additional costs for businesses delivering messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform, including service replies and other message categories that are now subject to applicable charges.

To maintain service quality while accommodating these changes, Trendify is updating its existing pricing structure for WhatsApp business messaging services.

Updated Pricing Structure

Trendify's proposed pricing structure includes monthly subscriptions and pay-as-you-go options designed to accommodate businesses with different messaging volumes and operational requirements.

The proposed monthly plans are:

• Starter: KES 2,500 per month, including up to 1,000 AI replies.
• Growth: KES 9,000 per month, including up to 5,000 AI replies.
• Scale: KES 35,000 per month, including up to 20,000 AI replies.

Proposed pay-as-you-go rates include KES 1.80 per AI service reply, KES 1.20 per utility template, KES 1.20 per authentication template and KES 4.50 per marketing template.

Final rates and billing terms will be communicated through Trendify's official channels.

Protecting Existing Annual Subscribers

Trendify recognises the importance of pricing predictability for businesses that have already committed to annual subscriptions.

Customers on existing annual packages will retain their current pricing for the remainder of their active subscription period. The revised pricing will apply when their subscriptions come up for renewal.

This approach gives annual subscribers time to plan for the change without disrupting their existing arrangements.

Customers will be informed of the applicable renewal pricing before their subscriptions expire.

Continued Service Commitment

The adjustment reflects changes in third-party platform costs rather than a change in Trendify's commitment to its customers.

Trendify will continue providing its WhatsApp business messaging services, supporting organisations in managing customer communications and integrating automation into their operations.
